Job Title: Part-Time Youth Pastor

Location: New Song Church, North Denver

Job Type: Part-Time (15-20 hours per week)

 

Job Description:

New Song Church is seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Pastor to lead and disciple our

middle and high school students.

This role is responsible for creating an engaging and Christ-centered environment where young

people can grow spiritually,

build strong relationships, and be equipped to live out their faith.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and lead weekly youth services, Bible studies, and discipleship groups.

- Organize youth events, retreats, and outreach opportunities.

- Provide pastoral care, mentorship, and spiritual guidance to students.

- Equip and support parents in discipling their teens at home.

- Recruit, train, and oversee youth ministry volunteers.

- Ensure alignment with the overall vision and mission of New Song Church.

- Utilize social media and digital communication to engage students and parents.

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

- A growing and personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

- Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Ministry, Theology, or a related field

preferred.

- Ordination or formal ministerial training required.

- Some level of certification in youth ministry, theology, or pastoral leadership is preferred.

- At least 2 years of experience in youth ministry or church leadership.

- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

- Ability to connect with and minister to youth from diverse backgrounds.

- A team player who works well with church leadership and volunteers.

 

Hours & Compensation:

- Part-time position (15-20 hours per week).

- Compensation based on experience and qualifications.
